Each app maintains its exact position across all sessions.
Your brain naturally builds spatial
maps.
After a few uses, your eyes know exactly where to look, eliminating the cognitive load
of visual searching.
The apps grid matches your keyboard layout. Your fingers know exactly where to go.
Mac modifier keys (like Right Command)

SpatialDock has two docks for your apps:
The primary dock (at the top) should contain your most used apps,
which you can switch/launch easily using their assigned key shortcuts.
At first start this dock is empty, so you need to assign your most used apps to keys.
The secondary dock (at the bottom) contains all other apps. Since you may have many applications, this dock is multiline.
You can activate this dock by using the "switch dock" key (comma by default).
You can move apps between docks using mouse drag and drop.
Choose the size and position of the SpatialDock window.
This allows you to switch apps without having SpatialDock window in your way.

Because macOS Cmd+Tab and Mission Control change app positioning each time they are invoked, turning app
switching into visual scanning on screen.
This interrupts your flow especially if you switch frequently between apps.
